Marmomac and the city

Marmomac and the city

from 21 September to 11 October 2026

Marmomac & The City

From 21 September to 11 October, Verona transforms into an open-air museum, where natural stone brings installations, design and architecture to life.

During Marmomac 2026, Verona becomes the stage for a city-wide journey that brings the culture of natural stone beyond the exhibition grounds. Marmomac & The City transforms the historic centre into an open-air museum, where installations, artworks and urban design pieces engage in a dialogue with the city's architecture, creating a unique experience for visitors and residents alike.

The 2026 edition is developed in collaboration with White Carrara, strengthening the connection between Verona and Carrara through a project that celebrates the excellence of Italian natural stone. Internationally renowned designers and companies from the Carrara stone district come together to create works that reinterpret natural stone through a contemporary lens, combining craftsmanship, innovation and design culture.

More than an exhibition, Marmomac & The City is a cultural project that explores design as a tool for urban transformation, offering a new way to experience the city through one of the defining materials of Italy's architectural and artistic heritage.
