Marmomac and the city

from 21 September to 11 October 2026

Marmomac & The City

From 21 September to 11 October, Verona transforms into an open-air museum, where natural stone brings installations, design and architecture to life.

On the occasion of Marmomac 2026, Verona becomes the stage for a city-wide journey that brings the culture of natural stone beyond the boundaries of the exhibition. Marmomac & The City transforms the historic centre into an open-air museum, where installations, artworks and urban furnishings engage in dialogue with the city's architecture, creating a unique experience for both residents and visitors.

The 2026 edition is the result of a collaboration with White Carrara and strengthens the dialogue between the stone districts and the municipalities of Verona, Carrara and Pietrasanta through a project dedicated to the excellence of Made in Italy. Internationally renowned designers and companies specialising in stone processing bring to life works that reinterpret this material through a contemporary lens, combining research, innovation and design culture.

More than an exhibition, Marmomac & The City is a cultural project that presents design as a tool for transforming urban spaces, offering a new way to experience and discover the city through natural stone, a material that has long been one of the defining symbols of Italian excellence.
