MARMOMAC 2025

The Plus Theatre

The Plus Theatre took center stage at Marmomac 2025, offering a new journey through architecture, design, and academia to explore the potential of natural stone.

Designed by architect Giorgio Canale, the exhibition was inspired by Le Corbusier's Plan Voisin, reinterpreted in a contemporary key 60 years after his death through the expressive power of stone. Talks, workshops, installations, and exhibitions brought together a highly creative and international space, designed for companies, industry professionals, architects, and designers.

It was a unique opportunity to showcase the value of natural stone in all its forms: from the raw block to the finished product, in a journey that connects design and architecture, art and university research. The Plus Theatre also housed a restaurant and wine bar, offering a dynamic environment for building new connections, sharing design visions, and reflecting on the future of the sector through a transversal and innovative perspective.

MARMOMAC MEETS ACADEMIES

FABULA LITICA – THE ENCHANTED FOREST

Curator: Giuseppe Fallacara

In 2025, Marmomac Meets Academies presents Fabula Litica, a visionary journey where tradition and innovation intertwine in the storytelling of natural stone.

At its heart stands a stone sculpture inspired by Sleeping Beauty, guarded by three monumental trees made of steel and Alberobello stone—a symbol of the dialogue between material and technology. Surrounding it, a stone forest showcases prototypes created by students of architecture, design, and engineering, in collaboration with companies in the industry.

A unique opportunity to exhibit your expertise alongside emerging talent and contribute to a project that transforms stone into narrative.
