AQUILIALBERG ARCHITECTS

Architects

Founded in 2006, AQUILIALBERG ARCHITECTS is a visionary and innovative international architectural and design practice based in Lugano, Switzerland, with extensive experience in the fields of architecture, urbanism, infrastructure and design on different scale levels. partners Ergian Alberg & Laura Aquili combine a multicultural approach with uncompromising implementation of high-quality design and architecture. Architects

BUREAU is the project of Daniel Zamarbide, Carine Pimenta and Galliane Zamarbide. The practice hides under its generic name a variety of research activities. BUREAU acts as an urge to react and participate in the surrounding physical, cultural and social environment with a critical standpoint and an immersive attitude. BUREAU is a furniture series, an editorial project, a design and architecture team. Nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2022, BUREAU has been awarded with, among others, the Prix de Genève 2021, the Gold Award Best Architect 22 Germany, the Blue Award Best Architect 22 Germany, the Swiss Design Awards in 2019, the Swiss Art Awards, the Prix Design Suisse with the ALICE EPFL laboratory, and the Frame Awards.

NENMAR

Architects

Nenmar is an international multidisciplinary design-led practice, co-directed by Gianluca Nencini and Elena Maresca focusing in unique and bespoke projects. At Nenmar they endeavour to convey people’s individual stories, they specialise in delivering meaningful architecture and design, pursuing unique and exacting details. Nenmar works on a variety of projects of different size and scope. They have an international attitude. They are based in London but work all over the world.

THPD

Architects

THDP was founded by partners Architect Manuela Mannino & Interior Designer Nick Hickson in 2005 – together they have over 50 years of experience. With studios in London and Milan, THDP designs and oversees pioneering projects throughout Europe. THDP’s creative teams have been hand-chosen and work comfortably in the demanding discipline of hospitality design. As designers they are ‘storytellers’, this is the foundation of a clear, appealing, and distinctive concept & narrative, in short, THDP creates evocative interiors, hotels, and restaurants. They are chartered RIBA, SBID & NEWH members.

Agustina Bottoni

Designer

Agustina Bottoni is an Argentinian designer based in Milan and working globally for high-end brands and galleries. Exploring the emotional value of objects and spaces, her projects elicit refined concepts, while honoring material authenticity and sustainability though harmonic compositions of elegant, timeless shapes. In recent years she was honored to receive awards and being selected as an influential woman in Italian design by Triennale di Milano, 50 Best Designers of 2021 by Marie Claire, and exceptional emerging designers by Dwell. Relevant exhibitions include Design Miami, Salone del Mobile, London Design Fair, and Maison et Objet. She is also co-founder of the design collective The Ladies’ Room.

Astrid Luglio

Designer

Italian designer Astrid Luglio was born in Naples in 1988. She studied at NABA – the New Academy of Fine Arts – in Milan, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design. In 2018, she founded her own independent studio and started to teach Design of Small Objects to international students at NABA, New Academy of Fine Art in Milan. Astrid is also part of an ongoing collective, called The Ladies’ Room, with fellow designers Ilaria Bianchi, Agustina Bottoni, and Sara Ricciardi. Together they have started a reflection on contemporary design, through the creation of artifacts and experiences that investigate the renewed need for a sensory involvement.

Cristian Visentin

Designer

Cristian Visentin was born in Varese in 1972, he graduated in Architecture and Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano and got a master degree in Industrial Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Milan. He acquired experience in various studios including Atelier Bellini, Marco Zanuso jr Studio and the R&D center of Baleri Italia. Since some years he has started his own studio in Pavia, the city where he lives and is involved in activities of industrial design, graphics, interior design and architecture.

Dainelli Studio

Designers

Founded in 2007 by Leonardo and Marzia Dainelli, Dainelli Studio is a Milan-based architecture firm with a dual soul: product and interior design. The studio was initially opened in Pisa, in the heart of Tuscany: the nature, the marble quarries, the culture and the artisanal know-how characteristic of this region, mark a strong imprinting in the design style of the studio. Their ongoing research on image and form leads to concrete results of refined design, based on perfectly gauged proportions and harmony between forms, materials and finishes. Every project embodies in-depth design culture with knowledge of industrial production techniques and craftsmanship.

Eleonora Castagnetta Botta

Designer

Eleonora Castagnetta lives and works in Switzerland. Her desire for creativity was forged at the Architecture degree course in Palermo and at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, Switzerland. She worked 13 years at Studio Mario Botta Architetti and here she enriched her accentuated inclination for architecture and design by frequenting the excellence of Swiss design. In 2018, he started Studio AnD – Arts n Design, which focuses on design, interiors and exhibitions. Her works – signed Eleonora Castagnetta – are often shown in important exhibitions and published in prestigious magazines, both Italian and international.

Fabrizio Bendazzoli

Designer

We are a multidisciplinary design studio that embraces every aspect of design for the development of ideas. We are dedicated to creating unique design solutions that stand out from the crowd and capture the essence of corporate identity. We are more than just designers: we are the visual storytellers, the keepers of the visions that are realised through our work. We strive to tell exciting stories, explore new perspectives and create designs that are truly meaningful to those who use them.

Francesco Lucchese Design

Designer

Lucchesedesign works all over the world with different project levels depending on the client’s request, with a great ability to adapt to different contexts offering a 360° approach and vision of the services offered. The studio operates in different fields and offers a wide range of product design projects thanks to its collaboration with leading Italian and foreign companies. The architectural activity is defined through relevant projects such as hotels, public spaces, entertainment venues and showrooms.

García Cumini

Designers

The García Cumini Associati studio was established in Udine (Italy) in 2012 as the sum of two consolidated experiences in the world of design. Vicente García Jiménez graduated in Technical Engineering with a focus on Industrial Design at the Faculty of Experimental Sciences in Castellon de la Plana, while Cinzia Cumini graduated in Udine in Cultural Heritage Conservation, with a thesis on the importance of industrial design in contemporary society. The union of the two cultures – Italian and Spanish – gives rise to a passionate multidisciplinary team, capable of ranging from object design to the design of artistic installations, art direction and graphic design for coordinated image and communication projects.

Gumdesign

Designers

Laura Fiaschi – designer and graphic designer – and Gabriele Pardi – architect – work in architecture, industrial design, graphics, and art direction for companies and events. Since 2008 they have been following the creative direction of “Cambiovaso” for the company Upgroup involving 30 international designers; they are art directors and members of the editorial board of Bau, a container of contemporary culture. They have been following the creative direction of the Styl’Editions brand since October 2018 and the AntonioLupi corporate image since January 2020.

Ilaria Marelli

Designer

Ilaria Marelli, architect and designer, specialized in art direction, product, exhibition and interior design, developing an emotional and experimental approach. Interested in the social and cultural aspect of design, Ilaria Marelli teaches “Innovation design” at Milan Politecnico and Naba, and she promotes ideas on social innovation, such as the first Italian co-housing project.Winner of the “Milano Donna 2008” award and “AlumniPolimi Award 2015” in Architecture.

Nick Maltese

Designer

“Discovering the world and translating knowledge into ideas”. This is the conceptual synthesis of Nick Maltese, architect and founder of Nick Maltese Studio, who manages to move with ease from the conception of an entertainment space to interior design, without renouncing his signature stylistic style, in constant tension between design vision and openness to external contamination. But Nick Maltese is not only an architect with a passion for interior design, but he is also the creator of works with unusual and suggestive atmospheres, aimed at the continuous search for an authentic dialogue with the history of the place and with the emotions of those who will inhabit the spaces.
