RONALD FERGLE
President of SOLART
Ronald Fergle, AIA, NSI, LEED AP, is an architect who focuses on the advancement of sustainable design and building technology. He is president of SOLART, an architectural design and alternative energy consulting company. He has worked at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (Chicago), and with the General Motors Worldwide Facilities Group.
He writes continuing education courses and articles for professional journals; and is a frequent conference lecturer on topics ranging from photovoltaic technology to natural stone. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Miami University (Ohio). At MIT he was a teaching assistant as well as research assistant. He served on the MIT Alumni Board of Director’s and was a recipient of the MIT Lobdell Distinguished Service Award.
