The 57th edition of Marmomac, the international trade fair dedicated to the natural stone industry, concluded reaffirming itself as the primary global hub for the stone market and processing technologies.
The event recorded significant numbers, with over 51,000 attendees over four days, marking a 10% increase compared to 2022. The presence of international buyers grew by 15%, coming from 138 different countries. The presence of foreign visitors was remarkable, reaching 66% of the total, with a 15% increase in absolute value. America showed a strong increase, with a +29%, thanks to visitors from the United States, Canada, and Brazil. China made a grand return, and Europe, particularly Germany, Spain, and France, participated significantly. Among the 1,507 exhibiting companies, 68.5% were international, hailing from 54 countries. The event focused on product design culture and professional training with two dedicated pavilions: The Plus Theatre and A Matter of Stone, curated by Elle Decor, to promote the use of marble in the luxury and interior design sectors among architects and designers. The next edition of Marmomac is scheduled for September 24-27, 2024.
