It London, stone becomes psychedelic

Cosmopolitan sites, Mediterranean cuisine, carefully chosen background music, and captivating design are the stylistic choices that make a chain of exclusive restaurants unique.

Born in Ibiza in 2015 and is slowly bringing its offer to the most enchanting places in Europe: IT Restaurants owns six restaurants in Ibiza, Milan, London, Porto Cervo, Tulum, and Mykonos. IT London stands out for its interesting use of natural stone. It offers a dynamic fusion of fine dining and daily music sets from international DJs across two floors of a former art gallery, making it one of Mayfair’s most dynamic hang-outs. Acting as executive architect, working with interior designer Marsica Fossati from Milan, the challenge was to coordinate the technical demands of a high-end working restaurant with the ambitious aspirations of the client. GA&D delivered the project’s construction drawings and contract administration, including the many bespoke items that made up Marsica’s design. Strolling past the fashion houses and art galleries of Dover Street, you can see the striking exterior floral displays and outdoor seating from a distance. The glamorous interior has a bar, restaurant, private dining options, an upstairs lounge, and a gallery space. The design featured turquoise banquettes, brushed gold tables with plush, padded cream chairs, dark wood floors set off by marble tables, and an open kitchen and a raw fish bar in the center. The ambient lighting and glitzy interior make you forget the world outside. The use of stone strikes in the psychedelic bathroom with the juxtaposition of eight types of marble: pink from Portugal, yellow from Egypt, green from Guatemala, red from Alicante, Nero Maquina, sky blue, pearl gray, and Bianco from Carrara.
